Friday Night Summer Series Round 4 Results
Friday 28th May Rugby Velo 2 Cosford Lane

An almost totally dry line in the woods, and the reverse running of the course 
for some fast downhill action increased speeds over round 2 tonight.

This time its Veteran Pete Harris who gets the holeshot, 
followed by Smiffy, Ben Loaker and Phil Hughes.
 Adi Scott powers past them all to hot the pace up but is soon passed by Smiffy
and Hughes who had a close battle all race but positions never changed.
A good showing from Ben Loaker to push Scott all race too.

Pete Harris ran away with the Vets for his 3rd straight win 
whilst Sperry and Peterson battled closely for 2nd all race.
Peterson jumped away in the wooded section for a break, on lap 3
only to be halted by a locked up drivetrain, Sperry held the subsequent gap to the line.
Last years champ Ron Rutgers got closer to the podium and is knocking at the door again.

A poor turnout, not helped by a bank holiday weekend no doubt.
