2005 Specialized Enduro6 (Plus) - Catton Hall - Apr 24/25

Dabs is back
Plumz hit the hastily arranged and freshly named 2005 Enduro Plus, at its new emergency location of Catton Hall and It didn't look good.
Catton and Rain are not good partners. Stu and Dabs entered the 3 lap race on Saturday. Dabs putting in a great ride for 3rd place, with a big grin for claiming Jamie Harris's scalp, whilst Stu followed him home.
The news was the course was sticky, then just as we pre-lapped the rain came and we got plastered as we slithered round, we retired after much bike washing not really looking forward to this.

It has to be said though, the 24 minute lap Ian Wilkinson put up for the night time trial in those conditions was stunning.

Sunday saw some sun and the course was firming up all the time, hey we even got a bit burnt chilling in the pits between laps. It's nice when a course gets faster as you get more tired.

In the end most had loads of fun and the venue is certainly a worthy rider challenge for future events.

Must get some better riding shades..

JP who has competed in every Enduro 6 since the event started chickened out of the solo slog and paired up with Dabs for some 2 man fun.

Luckily Scotts Army training meant he was the perfect partner for the run. After a good start the pair settled into 12 place battling with Matt Barrett and partner.

Trademark consistent laps from JP pulled the boys up to 9th place on the final lap for a great result against some Elite riders.
Dabs endurance is really Improving after the 3 lap slog on Saturday too.
